Our unique street athletics meeting, JBL Jump Fest, will take place on June 11 and 12, 2025, with the highlight of the second day being the highly anticipated men’s high jump, which for the first time is featured in the prestigious World Athletics Continental Tour Silver calendar!
Athletics fans can look forward to a clash of world-class high jumpers right in the heart of the city. The high jump event will feature big names such as Jan Štefela, the reigning European indoor silver medalist with a personal best of 230 cm; the returning-to-form Tobias Potye from Germany (234 cm PB), European silver medalist outdoors in 2022; and the strong Ukrainian Vladyslav Lavskyy (229 cm PB), silver medalist from the most recent European Championships. The average personal best of the nine jumpers is an impressive 229 cm! Representing Slovakia and facing off against the world competition will be local hope Róbert Ruffíni.

“After a successful debut in 2024, we want to take the high jump even further this year. The fact that JBL Jump Fest has become part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver means we’ve joined a narrow group of events in this category. We see this as a recognition of years of hard work, and also a challenge—since as an event held outside a stadium, it’s currently not possible to achieve a higher status than Silver from World Athletics,” says manager of the meeting Peter Samuelis.

The main program starts on Thursday, June 12 at 6:00 PM. Seating capacity will be increased by 20%, and as always, entry is free, with great atmosphere guaranteed! Fans will also have the opportunity to watch a live stream of the event online.
