PREVIOUS YEARS
We have been bringing world class athletics to the city center of Košice since 2016. Check out how it looked during previous years.

9th edition – 2024
- For the first time, the programme of the event has been extended to 2 days.
- After a successful debut, the meet continued as part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze.
- The biggest star was the reigning Diamond League champion, Olympic champion, European champion Gianmarco Tamberi.

8th edition – 2023
- We became part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze.
- For the first time, our meeting was broadcasted live in TV on the RTVS Sport channel.
- The biggest star was reigning Diamond League champion Andy Díaz Hernandez.

7th edition – 2022
- During this year’s campaign, we achieved more than 15 million views of short videos on Instagram and Tiktok.
- We launched the Open category for nonpro athletes. In the very first edition, more than 40 athletes from 15 countries (India, Israel, Sweden) arrived at their own expense.
- For the first time, JBL Jump Fest was recorded by a professional crew and the replay of the event was seen by more than 800 K viewers on RTVS ŠPORT and O2TV SPORT tv channels.

6th edition – 2021
- Covid-19 restrictions affected also the fifth edition of the meeting.
- For the first time, JBL Jump Fest had 2 competition days.
- The flat women’s 60-yard sprint had its premiere. At that time, the talented Viktória Forster, who later became the university world champion in the 100-meter hurdles, was part of this debut.

5th edition – 2020
- The success was the execution of the meeting itself. The situation regarding Covid-19 was quite serious. Just 3 weeks after the end of the 5th edition, the sport facilities were closed for 8 months.
- Due to pandemic restrictions, the start list of the Elite category had to be narrowed down to athletes only from neighboring countries.
- During this year, we partnered with the largest jumping community, Jumpers World.

4th edition – 2019
- The most famous manufacturer of athletic surfaces, MONDO, included our project among the TOP 15 street athletics meetings in the world. It was a huge success for such a young meeting.
- The whole event was in the spirit of saying goodbye to the extremely successful careers of Danka and Janka Velďáková.
- The debut of women’s hurdles sprint with the participation of our elite hurdler Stanislava Škvarková.

3rd edition – 2018
- Flat sprints were for the first time part of the competition program.
- 2 arenas were created. The jumping one was moved to Main square near the Urban tower, and the sprint arena was created in the original place.
- Athletes were competing on the MONDO surface, same surface as most of the Olympic stadiums are using.

1st edition – 2016
- On September 15, 2016, dreams became reality and a “street athletics” meeting was held in Košice.
- Twins Dana and Jana Velďáková became the ambassadors of the event.
- The host of the event was great athletics manager Alfons Juck.
